Bella enrolled in Law at the University of Wollongong as it had always been of interest to her. As soon as she started her degree, she knew she had chosen the right path. She appreciates the legal system’s complexity and finds it rewarding to assist clients however she can in navigating this system. After working in the Wills and Estates division at Foye Legal, Bella began to appreciate the sensitivity and support clients need during these more difficult times in their lives. Having recently moved to the Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation division, she looks forward to providing continuing support and guidance to clients.
For Bella, her career highlight was in the Estates division, working with an Executor who was in conflict with one of the beneficiaries of the Will. The solicitor of the beneficiary sent her a letter, and in taking the time to speak with her and explain the legal jargon, the client was so grateful. It reminded Bella how something can seem so simple to us but was invaluable to the client. Keeping things straightforward and clear when speaking to clients makes a world of difference.
Why Foye Legal
“I was attracted to Foye Legal’s strong female presence in the office and the diverse range of legal services offered. As a law student, I felt that Foye Legal was the perfect firm to begin learning about all the different branches of Law. So far, I have been granted the opportunity to work in and learn about commercial, property, personal injury and worker’s compensation law without ever leaving the office! We are a close-knit, supportive community that does amazing work every day.” – Bella.
