An important update about COVID-19

From the bushfires over the summer, to what is now a global pandemic with the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), these are trying and unusual times for all of us.

While we have witnessed the scenes of supermarket shelves stripped of essentials, such as toilet paper and hand sanitiser, we are also aware of the many people in the community who continue to provide a sense of calm. Now more than ever, we as a community need to each do our bit to help slow the spread of the virus to protect the most vulnerable.

We take pride in how Foye Legal operates, and want to take this opportunity to assure you that we are taking proactive steps to help protect the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff and families, and to reduce the impact of the virus on our community more broadly.

Foye Legal is cooperating with all the recommendations from the NSW Department of Health and we have implemented a COVID-19 Policy to guide how we work in these unusual circumstances. Our staff are following guidelines for hygiene, reducing close contact and seeing a doctor immediately if feeling unwell.

Please call the office if you have an appointment. Following health guidelines, we will ask if you:

  • Have travelled to mainland China, Italy or Iran in the past 14 days
  • Have travelled to the Republic of Korea on or after 5 March 2020
  • Have reported symptoms of cold or influenza
  • Are free of any of the other coronavirus symptoms

We will be complying with the very same advice.

We will endeavour to continue to help you with your case via telephone or video calls. Most matters can be conducted entirely online.

If you are a client or a prospective client, be assured that we will continue to provide you with exceptional customer service under the circumstances and these adjustments will not change how we approach handling your case, subject to the court system remaining open.

Our aim is to reduce exposure for you and your family, as well as our staff and their families. We are in this together, as one community, and all of us at Foye Legal thank you for helping us reduce the risk to our community in these unprecedented circumstances.

Stay safe, healthy, and above all else, let’s support each other through this period.
